I've tried a few different wireless usb adaptors and i'm now currently trying an Edimax EW-7711UAn. The drivers install fine and the device appears to be working fine. I can't enable my wireless network though, when i try it just remains disabled. I've tried just installing the drivers and not the utility provided and it's the same. I've recently used different drivers specifically for windows 7 and still the same problem. When i try and set up a wireless network connection from scratch it just pops up with the message in the bottom right saying "not connected" then "no connections are available". The exact problem happened with a previous usb adaptor. The utility can be opened but it won't view any networks. This also happened with the previous usb adaptor. I just can't enable any wireless networks to even try and view any?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
